Follow these steps to set up Fortnite.
Before you begin
Check product status, then get your download and license key from your CLAW account.
Setup order
Complete each step in order.
- Install an archive extractor.
- Install the Microsoft Visual C++ x64 runtime.
- Apply the documented Defender/antivirus configuration.
- Run the dedicated Fortnite loader; use Insert for the menu.

Press Windows + R and run winver to check your Windows version and OS build.
